Piperonaceae essential oils based production of isosafrole derivatives comprises distillation of a solution formed by boiling of the oils

NOVELTY – The piperonaceae essential oils baed production of isosafrole derivatives has addition of the essential oils to a round-bottom flask with a reflux condenser which is removed once the mixture starts to boil. Then addition of KOH and CaO and reutilization of the condenser yields a solution which is distilled after vacuum filtration for collection of the resulting solution. USE – In industrial chemistry.
