Method of oliva oil indentification
NOVELTY – Aliquot is added to appropriate cells which are irradiated with x-rays by an energy dispersive x-ray fluorescence system and measured using a spectrometer. Specters that are obtained are analyzed using a statistical program and principal component analysis. Data obtained from the analysis are used to identify different classes of oils. USE – For classifying oils i.e. vegetable oil, animal oil, mineral oil and synthetic oil for use in e.g. food industry, pharmaceuticals, fuel, cosmetics, lubricants, ornaments. ADVANTAGE – Enables simple and rapid analysis.
