NOVELTY – A chemical reagent oxidizes the metallic e.g. steel, surface with polymer, reducing contact angle and adherence of oil with respect to the surface, and making the surface hydrophilic. The oxidized application spreads as a film over the metallic surface and can be adjusted according to operational necessity. USE – For forming hydrophilic surfaces for e.g. heavy oil transport pipe. ADVANTAGE – Ensures long-term operation of oil line with improved oil productivity, since oil adhesion or absorption with respect to surface is minimized.
