NOVELTY – The method involves compressing packets of 204 bytes to 188 bytes by a transmitter, and marking compressing information in a PLI (PID layer information) table. A decompression process is performed by a receiver. The label information is received using the PLI. Broadcast transport stream (BTS) is reconstructed with a constant bit rate. The PLI table is inserted at specific positions. Integrity of original sequence of the BTS is verified. A bit rate adapter is utilized to perform writing process of information so as to reconstruct an original packet decoder. USE – Method for re-multiplexing ISDB-T signals for broadcasting TV signals. ADVANTAGE – The method enables realizing the distribution of BTS in an effective manner, saving bandwidth, allowing construction of single frequency network (SFN) with reduced bit rate at low transmission cost. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) – The drawing shows a schematic view illustrating a method for re-multiplexing ISDB-T signals for broadcasting TV signals.
