NOVELTY – The method utilizes energy dispersive x-ray fluorescence (EDXRF) and conventional equipment to scatter x-ray beams of a specific spectrum. The main components of the medicine are then analyzed. The distinct compositions of the medicines are thereby identified. USE – For alternative medicines and generic medicines. Also for e.g. inks, folders, plants, polymers. ADVANTAGE – Enables simple, rapid and low-cost analysis of medicines.
