NOVELTY – The device has an acrylic separate solenoid valve (11) controlling flow of air. A test chamber (10) includes adapters (8) for fixing tobacco, and a center support sample holder (7) receives stream of smoke. An electronic timer measures flow of air and smoke within the test chamber that permits optimum settings of an operating cycle. Test samples are fixed in the center support sample holder. The solenoid valve closes a vacuum chamber (13). USE – Device for controlling tobacco smoke. ADVANTAGE – The device simulates the smoke cycle time programmed through the timer to control the timing of inhalation and exhalation of smoke, estimates the clinical behavior in the oral cavity and tests the effect of cigarette smoke on surfaces. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) – The drawing shows a perspective view of a device for controlling tobacco smoke.
