NOVELTY – The acrylic thermoplastic elastomer comprises 5-15% methyl methacrylate, 16-26% ethyldiglycol acrylate, 0.5-5% cross-linking agent, 0.5-6% photocurable catalysts, 35-65% natural or synthetic polymers, and 1-25% filler. Multifunctional monomers and silanes are also included in the acrylic thermoplastic elastomer. USE – Acrylic thermoplastic elastomer used for manufacturing prefabricated intermediate products selected from flexible dental arches, trays, prosthetic bases, provisional crowns and fixed prostheses, maxillofacial prosthesis, orthopedic orthosis and prosthesis, and devices for containment in orthopedics (all claimed). ADVANTAGE – The acrylic thermoplastic elastomer has rigid and stiff property similar to plastic, and facilitates wide application prospects in dental areas, medical, automotive, electrical, electronics, textiles, footwear, pulp and paper, minerals, chemical construction, engineering polymers structures and chemical auxiliary.
