NOVELTY – The device (1) has a cavity (2) contained in a non-stick material in a same plane. The cavity comprises varying dimensions in the range of 3-3.5 mm wide, 1 mm deep and 8-11 mm length. The cavity comprises a spacing in an inner end (3) in the range of 1-4 mm length. The non-stick material is selected from the group consisting of wood coated with silicone, stainless steel or nylon i.e. Teflon. USE – Positioning device for alignment of chips from microtensile test adhesive dental materials (claimed) for analysis in a scanning electron microscopy. ADVANTAGE – The device performs analysis of fracture patterns through bond strength tests in the dental field so as to increase appearance of fracture standards in the scanning electron microscopy. The device reduces scanning time of the microscope, improves quality of obtained images, minimizes errors inherent in the technique so as to facilitate assembly of the specimens in stubs and generate a unique work with superior quality. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) – The drawing shows a top view of a positioning device. Positioning device (1) Cavity (2) Inner end (3)
