NOVELTY – The urethral connector comprises a unit for automatic measurement of bladder pressure, urinary flow and estimating the cross-sectional area of bladder outlet obstruction. A primary part has a urethral tube (A) that is provided for insertion into the body. Two side ports are provided with pressure sensors (B,C). A longitudinal passage is provided for urine flow. A secondary part has side port (D) for injection of pressurized air. USE – Urethral connector for automatic measurement of vesical pressure for estimating urinary flow and cross-sectional area of infravesical obstruction for treatment using medicinal products or surgical intervention. ADVANTAGE – Reduces discomfort or pain in patients. Enables to accurately measure vesical pressure. DETAILED DESCRIPTION – INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a method for measuring bladder pressure; (2) a method of estimation of urinary flow; and (3) a method for estimating the cross-sectional area of bladder outlet obstruction. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) – The drawing shows a schematic view of a urethral connector. (Drawing includes non-English language text). Urethral tube (A) Pressure sensors (B,C) Air injection side port (D)
