Automated peripheral nerve stimulator and automation method

Automated peripheral nerve stimulator and automation method

NOVELTY – The method involves providing a constant and invariant chain in tissue impedance of the patient. An electromyography signal conditioner is used, such that the stimulator captures the electrical activity of the muscle evoked by stimulation. The levels deciding to upgrade the current level are analyzed by a microcontroller. The collection of sensor data is managed by an analog to digital converter. A refinement of data is conducted for better interpretation and reliability of automation. The negative phase is rebutted individually for each axis. USE – Method for automation of a peripheral nerve stimulator for assisting local anesthesia, particularly plexus block anesthesia. ADVANTAGE – The electromyography signal conditioner is used, such that the stimulator captures the electrical activity of the muscle evoked by stimulation, which automates the adjustment of the current level, and thus ensures convenience for the anesthesiologist to use the peripheral nerve stimulator to allow blocking of peripheral nerves without the help of an assistant, while maintaining the quality and precision of operation. DETAILED DESCRIPTION – An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a peripheral nerves stimulator. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) – The drawing shows a flowchart of a method for automation of a peripheral nerve stimulator. (Drawing includes non-English language text) Sampling and analysis routine (AA) Data cycle collection (BB) Calculating a modulus (DD) Calculating a resultant of XYZ axes (EE) Repeating response (HH)
