PROCESS OF SUPERHYDROPHILIC SYNTHESIS OF NANOCOMPOSITO OF GRAFENO AND NANOTUBO OF CARBON AND ITS USE AS CA
NOVELTY – Preparing nanocomposite of graphene and carbon nanotube involves entraining of iron and carbon precursors in a gas/vapor chamber heated to 400-1000 degrees C, preferably at 850 degrees C, at atmospheric pressure. The precursors are vaporized in a pre-chamber by heating if they are in solid state. The vapors containing precursor elements are charged by inert gases. The carbon source and metal catlyst are heated in solid state at 850 degrees C for 1-60 minutes, preferably for 5 minutes to obtain carbon nanotubes. The catalytic particles are removed from the nanotubes. USE – Method for preparing nanocomposite of graphene and carbon nanotube for transfection of genes (claimed). ADVANTAGE – The method enables to prepare nanocomposite of graphene and carbon nanotube that has improved thermal conduction, mechanical and electrical properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION – Preparing nanocomposite of graphene and carbon nanotube involves entraining of iron and carbon precursors in a gas/vapor chamber heated to 400-1000 degrees C, preferably at 850 degrees C, at atmospheric pressure. The precursors are vaporized in a pre-chamber by heating if they are in solid state. The vapors containing precursor elements are charged by inert gases. The carbon source and metal catalyst are heated in solid state at 850 degrees C for 1-60 minutes, preferably for 5 minutes to obtain carbon nanotubes. The catalytic particles are removed from the nanotubes where if iron is present in high concentration, then the carbon nanotubes are washed with 10 molar hydrochloric acid at 150 degrees C and then subsequent removal from acid is carried out by submersion in water and filtration. The functionalization of carbon nanotubes is performed in plasma assisted plasma deposition reactor with oxygen plasma at subatmospheric pressure 20-720 milliTorr and with movement of the powders in the plasma region for 0.1-60 minutes for their oxidation and exfoliation to obtain nanocomposite of graphene and carbon nanotube.
