NOVELTY – The method involves performing discrete Fourier transform (DFT) for processing voltage signals with finite precision, and for separating the basic components, harmonic components and transitory components of the voltage signals. Neural network and computer processing are then used to process the extracted components and to determine the amplitude and phases of the basic and harmonic components. USE – For separating components and parameters of single-phase voltage signals.
