Aluminum phosphate slurry

NOVELTY – Slurry comprises amorphous aluminum phosphate particles (40-70 wt.%) and a dispersant (3.5 wt.%). USE – The slurry is useful in a paint, varnish, printing ink, paper and plastic (claimed). ADVANTAGE – The slurry is a cost-effective composition of amorphous aluminum phosphate. DETAILED DESCRIPTION – INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) a paint comprising a solvent and the slurry; and (2) a process for preparation of a stable aluminum phosphate slurry composition comprising: mixing a stock slurry comprising amorphous aluminum phosphate (30 wt.%), amorphous aluminum phosphate powder and a dispersant; and stirring with a disperser at stirring velocity of 500-2000 rpm.
