BLOWPIPE FOR DOPING OF [PREFORMS] FOR OPTIC FIBER

NOVELTY – The fibre optic’s preforms doping capillary injector has the vapor axial deposition (VAD) system separating the SiCl4 and GeCl4 for conventional deposition of the SiCl4. The GeCl4 capillary injection promotes mixing of the metal halides, with consequent formation of germanium concentration profiles along the preform radius. USE – In materials science.
