NOVELTY – The nitrosation system for thiols and other substrates comprises a nitric oxide cylinder (1) and a synthetic air cylinder (3), with flowmeters (4), a gas mixer (5), and a gas mixture distribution and pressure equalizing assembly (9). Bubbling of the nitric oxide and air mixture is facilitated by Teflon(TM) joints (11) and a nitrogen cylinder (13). USE – In Chemical engineering.
