PROCESS OF ATTAINMENT OF ANAESTHETICS [LEVOBUPIVACAINA] E (S) – [L]-MEPIVACAINA

NOVELTY – The production of vacain derivative type anaesthetics consists of TMSCN addition to quiral N-acylamine ions to obtain (S)-L-pipecolic acid. The anaesthetics produced are (S)-(-)-N-n-butyl-N-2,6 dimethyl phenylpipecolamide and (S)-(-)-N-methyl-N-2,6-dimethyl phenylpipecolamide. USE – In physical chemistry.
