ELECTROCHEMICAL PROCESS OF ORGANIC COMPOSITE OXIDATION USING A COMPOSED REACTOR OF A DIAMOND ANODE
NOVELTY – The diamond-anode-reactor-based oxidation of organic compounds has circulation of solution containing the organic compounds between the electrodes coated with diamond doped with boron. Then electrical discharge of water at the anode initiates the oxidation with production of hydroxyl radicals and initiation of discharge of water at the diamond surface and oxidation of the organic compounds in this. EMBODIMENT – The current applied is increased together with the speed of recirculation of the solution in the reactor. USE – In applied chemistry.
Main Application Field
D15 (Chemical or biological treatment of water, industrial waste and sewage – including purification, sterilising or testing water, scale prevention, treatment of sewage sludge, regeneration of active carbon which has been used for water treatment and impregnating water with gas e.g. CO2, but excluding plant and anti-pollution devices (C02).); J03 (Electrochemical processes and electrophoresis – including ozone production, brine electrolysis, water electrolysis, production of chemical compounds and non-metallic elements, but excluding batteries or other means of producing power and the treatment of metals (C25B).); X16 (Electrochemical Storage)
